Wisconsin to Hold Public Hearing on Voter Fraud
“We owe it to the voters of Wisconsin that all claims of voter fraud are investigated.”
Wisconsin is set to hold a public hearing on irregularities and potential voter that occurred within the state during the 2020 election.
The Wisconsin Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections announced that it will hold a public hearing about the 2020 Presidential Election on December 11 at the Wisconsin State Capitol as numerous concerns over the vote’s integrity have been brought to the committee’s attention.
“With numerous concerns brought forward, we will proceed with the election investigation,” Assembly Speaker Robin Vos said in a statement. “We must ensure that every legal vote was counted and begin working to eliminate questionable practices that undermine the integrity of the vote.”
The Assembly claims it has received thousands of complaints regarding the election and has spent the past month reviewing each claim.
“We owe it to the voters of Wisconsin that all claims of voter fraud are investigated,” said Wisconsin Rep. Jim Steineke. “It’s vital that we can have confidence in our state’s electoral process.”
In a suit to be heard in Milwaukee County Court on Thursday, Lawyers for President Trump aim to disqualify 221,000 ballots in Dane and Milwaukee counties over alleged voting violations while urging the state’s legislature to decide electoral votes.
Wisconsin election officials certified last week that they were officially recognizing Biden as the winner.
