Footage out of Germany shows doctor Andreas Noack being raided by police during a YouTube live stream for apparently violating government COVID restrictions.

Video shows Noack, who has been labeled a critic of Germany’s lockdown orders, turning away from the camera as he becomes aware of the police’s presence.

Police can be heard banging on his door while yelling “Polizei!” before making their way into the room.

Noack can be seen being ordered to the ground by a mask wearing officer wielding a rifle as another officer eventually makes his way to the computer running the live stream and turns the camera in a different direction.

It is being speculated that the doctor was raided for treating injured protesters at an anti-lockdown demonstration.

Other reports suggest Noack was under investigation for violating government lockdown orders.

The video sent Twitter users into a frenzy as they compared the raid to those by the Gestapo secret police in Nazi Germany:

Anti-lockdown protestors took to downtown Berlin on Wednesday to denounce a bill being considered by the legislature which critics believe would give the government too much power in regulating the lives of ordinary people.

Footage has widely circulated of German police using water cannons and tear gas to disperse the large crowd of German people that attended the protest.
