In a Tuesday night address, President Trump appeared to threaten to veto the $900 billion COVID spending bill passed by congress on Monday which he called a “disgrace” and said has “nothing to do with COVID.”

After running off a list of the ‘pork’ inside the legislation, Trump called for congress to amend the “ridiculously low” $600 payments to individual Americans to $2,000 or $4,000 for a couple. He also called on congress to get rid of the “wasteful and unnecessary items” in the bill.

“Congress found plenty of money for foreign countries, lobbyists, and special interests while sending the bare minimum for the American people,” the President said, blaming the current virus crisis and economic conditions on China.
