Pres. Debate Commission Drops Foreign Policy Focus For 3rd Debate Following Hunter Biden Email Scandal
Needless to say, any faith in the mainstream media to pressure Joe Biden on his son’s leaked emails may be a lost cause …
The Commission On Presidential Debates has changed its original plan to focus on foreign policy at the third presidential debate scheduled for Thursday as information continues to leak into the public about Hunter Biden’s foreign dealings with Ukraine and China.
Instead, the Commission has now decided to push topics that ring similar to those covered at the first televised debate.
On Friday the debate commission announced their topics for Friday, which are bizarrely similar to the first debate topics. The second debate will feature: Fighting COVID-19; American Families; Race in America; Climate Change; National Security; and Leadership.
The first debate topics were: Covid-19; The Economy; Race and Violence in our Cities; The Integrity of the Election; The Supreme Court; and Trump and Biden’s Records.
The news of the third debate leaving a major foreign policy focus out was met with further derision from the Trump campaign, which has already lambasted the Commission for attempting to make the debates virtual, and for choosing moderators with a track record of bias. – THE NATIONAL PULSE
Trump campaign strategist Jason Miller railed against the commission’s decision, saying it appears to be an attempt to relieve candidate Joe Biden from answering questions related to “being compromised by the Chinese Communist Party, supporting endless wars and sending pallets of cash to Iran.”
Miller would tell Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Monday morning that “if the moderator doesn’t bring [Hunter Biden’s e-mails] up, I think you’re safe to assume that the President will.”
“Again, these are real simple questions that Joe Biden needs to answer to the American public,” Miller said.
Last week the New York Post began publishing reports containing emails from a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden which shed light on how Biden was leveraging his father’s position of Vice President to have a Ukrainian prosecutor fired at the wishes of the Burisma energy company, which Hunter sat on the board of.
The emails also show discussion between Hunter Biden and various individuals connected to a major Chinese energy firm that detail how Hunter was potentially paid $10 million annually “for introductions alone.”
As the commission strays from topics which would no doubt bring into question the foreign dealings of Hunter Biden and how they connect to his father, the move will only solidify the view which many hold now to be true, that the debate commission is a partisan group who’s mission is to tip the scales in favor of former VP Joe Biden.
Thursday’s debate moderator, Kristen Welker, has already been labeled a questionable choice by the commission since she has donated thousands of dollars to Democrats including Joe Biden.
The commission had to change their choice of C-Span’s Steve Scully to moderate the second televised debate after it was revealed he lied about his Twitter account being hacked after he appeared to accidentally publicly tweet an intended private message to former Trump aide Anthony Scaramucci.
Scully openly made his opinion of the president clear in the past …
On top of this, the chairman of the Presidential Debate Commission is a co-founder of an organization called “Color Revolution” which has strong links to the Steele Dossier, the political opposition hit piece on Presidental Trump alleging ties to Russia.
Needless to say, any faith in the mainstream media to pressure Joe Biden on his son’s leaked emails may be a lost cause …
