Melbourne Teen Choked Unconscious By Security Guard For Not Wearing Mask

Yet another choke hold out of Melbourne goes viral …

A shocking video out of Melbourne, Australia shows a teenager being choked unconscious and thrown to the ground by a hotel security guard for apparently not wearing a mask.

In the video, the security guard can be seen holding the teenager in a choke hold from behind before he eventually slams the unconscious young man to the ground like a rag doll.

The guard subsequently picks the unconscious teen’s body up by the shirt and belt and drags him through a set of doors.

One Twitter user revealed that incident had taken place at the Doerset Gardens Hotel Sports Bar, which was also verified in local news.

While social media users remain convinced the incident happened over the teen being maskless, local news reports that a hotel management claims the teenager was kicked out of the venue previously to being choked out for being rowdy.

One thing is clear, the teen was not wearing a mask at the indoor hotel sports bar and masks are currently a mandate when indoors in Melbourne.

Twitter users sounded off:

Melbourne has been the poster child for draconian COVID restriction enforcement with this not being the first time video has surfaced of someone being choked for having no mask on in the Australian capital.

Video from August showed a Melbourne police officer choking a woman in public for not wearing a mask.

The latest choke hold out of Melbourne comes after a Danish study found that mask wearing does little if anything to control the spread of COVID-19.
